Biography

Ana Bel Mayo is a highly respected Filipino community leader and advocate based in Milan, Italy, recognized for her impactful work in diaspora leadership, cultural integration, and migrant empowerment across Europe. She currently serves as Secretary of the European Network of Filipino Diaspora (ENFiD) for the 2025–2026 term, following her instrumental role as Vice Chair (2023–2024), where she helped strengthen collaboration among Filipino organizations throughout the region.

She is the Founder and President of “I Colori del Mondo,” a prominent multi-ethnic association in Milan dedicated to promoting cultural harmony, inclusivity, and cross-cultural dialogue. Her leadership also extends into public service and governance as National Under Secretary for Migrants of the Democrazia Cristiana party and a founding member of the local political movement Inzago Merita di Più, advocating for migrant rights at both grassroots and national levels.

Ana Bel brings strong professional credentials in accounting, tourism, and organizational leadership, and has actively collaborated with universities and EU-funded programs. She has contributed to notable cultural and artistic initiatives such as MUDEC and Abracadabra, reflecting her commitment to education, creativity, and intercultural understanding.

A multi-awarded leader, Ana Bel has been honored with distinctions including “100 Filipina Most Influential Women” and the Asian Leadership Award. She is also the Founder and Auditor of Kababaihan Rizalista and the Milan Lady Eagles Club, organizations focused on empowering Filipinas and preserving Philippine heritage abroad. Widely admired for her integrity, vision, and dedication, Ana Bel Mayo continues to inspire communities through leadership that bridges culture, advocacy, and service.
